Grooviest Christmas Light Show
Can't decide which is groovier: The Groovy Goat (terrific restaurant if you ever find yourself in Foley, Alabama) or the grooviest Christmas light show hosted by said restaurant.
Might have to investigate before I decide. Because, Science!

S'mores
Middlesex, VT is attempting to make the world's largest S'more. Is this possible?
Shiner Brewery in TX makes a seasonal beer called S'more. It allegedly tastes like chocolate and marshmallow. Is this possible?
We groovy people are going to investigate one or the other. Because, science!

We groovy people have not tried this particular basil olive oil, but the idea is intriguing - and groovy!

Santa Cruz
Business Insider says that Santa Cruz, California is a groovy small city. (Article link: here)
We groovy people will have to add this to our list of places to visit.

Field Roast
We groovy people are still scratching our head about this one. It is oxymoronic "vegan meat."
Wait, what?
Random order, jumbo shrimp, Schrodinger's cat.... It can't be both, my groovy peeps!
Is it vegan? Or is it meat?
Choose this day...

Butter Field
Well, my knee-jerk reaction is delight, as in, "What a splendid baby name!" Further reflection reminds me that the baby still needs a saint name in there somewhere. (Butter Augustine Field? Butter Anastasia Field?)
Still groovy.
Still groovy.

Then I Saw *This*
Let me see some stamps that are interesting, amusing, or pretty, I asked the nice postal clerk. Among the 3 (yawn) choices she gave me, was this monument to governmental bloat: Posters of the WPA.
Now, there is probably some historic significance to the program, yada yada, but nothing I'd call amusing or cute.
Then I saw THIS:

Then I saw THIS:
And, voila! The choice was made for me. Even the USPS is a fan of Field Day. This proves it. It has its own stamp.
Keep sending letters, groovy friends. They become increasingly valuable with each generation.

Science Lab (In a Box)
http://www.groovylabinabox.com/whats-in-the-box/
If we groovy people were still homeschooling our groovy children, we would totally look into these lab in a box surprises. Kids like to learn stuff. They like to see "What happens when I do this?" (Or, if you're Dee Dee, "What does this button do?")
Groovy idea whose time is now. Well played, Popular Mechanics!

Peanut Butter
We groovy people have a new favorite peanut butter. It has exactly two ingredients: organic peanuts and sea salt. What's not to love? And the name brand? Field Day! (I know right? Groovy bonus! Don't you love it???)
