We groovy people have made a valiant attempt to bring many groovy things to your attention in 2015. Our final entry, as we finish the year, is the Twilight Zone Marathon.
We groovy people watch it every year, yet never tire of it. Happy new year, groovy friends!

House Hunters International
This show is so predictable, we groovy people have come up with a Bingo card of the phrases we know we'll hear.
Still love the show.
Still love the show.

New Words
We groovy people used to play Scrabble with small (yet equally groovy) people, where, at the end of the game, when all we had left were goofy tiles that spelled nothing at all, we would make up our own new words.
It was great fun, and a splendid creative exercise.
Reading "The Buckets" (I wonder if it's pronounced "bouquet?") in the comics this morning, we groovy people have to wonder if, some day, there will be a blog called We Coolio People, or We Rad People, or We Beast People, or We Jim Dandy People, or We All That And A Bag Of Chips People...

Discernment
There are some people with whom we groovy people want to hang out. And some we don't. It's ok. Clowns are creepy, too.

Linda Clarke
How often do you say something off the cuff, and it makes the internet explode? Ooops, did she really *mean* single-handedly? Probably not, but it's a great ambition. We groovy people like those who dream big!

Morning Glory
We groovy people have heard this flower called "Kudzu Cousin," but if we get the right variety, they can be glorious.

Left Shark
Sometimes, you just gotta dance to your own music.
(Yes, we know this guy has appeared before, but he was not the topic, was he? Thank you.)

Labor of Love
Good way to see if your groovy marriage is for life: work on a project together.

When In Rome...
When you live here, you have to choose a side. You have to. This isn't Switzerland. Choose wisely, and choose well.

Pride of Cincinnati
While we're on the subject of Peace (Here, here, and here) Pride of Cincinnati's "Summer of Love" WGI show is THE grooviest winterguard performance we groovy people have ever seen. Sorry, Onyx & Santa Clara. Pride wins, all the way.

Newspapers
There are still a few good newspapers out there.
The Anniston Star comes to mind.
The Wall Street Journal.
We groovy people will let you know if we find any more worth mentioning.

Hooked On Onyx
This is Honey Onyx, a cool stone, as you can appreciate its beauty in natural light, or back light it on a bar top, for a very cool effect.
Groovy stone. Groovy name. Onyx. We like it.

Christmas Cactus
Ok, so this cactus probably doesn't keep a calendar. He doesn't realize that we are a good 6 weeks from Christmas.
Or maybe he's confused, (see wonky visual cues here) because he shops at all the same stores we do, where decorations abound, and electronic versions of secular winter holiday carols waft in the air.
Still groovy.

Jim Traficant
The Realist Report tells of a memorial to Representative from Ohio, Jim Traficant.
Easily the grooviest Congressman EVER. He had the courage to speak the truth, no matter the cost. He sent us some art from prison. The world is a better place for Jim's contribution.
Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.

Tang
Ok, maybe not quite as groovy as baby astronaut food, but hey, the astronauts drank Tang, so it's groovy enough for us!

Seeing the Future
At this link, Rob says:
We groovy people are thinking, "We love Rob Beschizza!" Here's a guy who sees what has come before, recognizes the pattern, and infers what will happen in the future. People who think like this are usually right!
Pay attention in math class, little groovy friends! Linear thinking is often predictive.

Taste Bud Polka
What an intriguing idea! We groovy people cannot remember the last time our taste buds did the polka. We believe some Shiner is in order...

Lego Boxes
A groovy site called Lines Across gives us a template for these groovy little boxes that look like Legos! How cute! Love these!

Nickels From Heaven
People in cars can't see them, these groovy nickels from Heaven. They're just lying there, on and near the white line where we groovy people wait for the traffic light to turn green.
We groovy people, riding our mopeds, can see them. They've been there over a week now: first one, then another. Pedestrians have not picked them up. Drivers, as we said, can't see them.
We groovy people thank the universe for the little "nod" each time we go by, whether we're stopped by the light or not.
Angels communicate by nickels. If you are fortunate, we groovy people will tell you about it some day.

Pasta
Arguably the most versatile food item we groovy people keep in our pantry. We can create an endless number of dishes with pasta - each one delish!

Spin Art
Speaking of art without an ending, Spin Art was a cool toy that Mom never let us have. Can you imagine flinging paint randomly at our house? Thought not. We did get to experience the grooviness at children's art fairs, carnivals, and other events, so we groovy people can attest to its coolness.
In any piece of art, however, you just have to know when to stop. Otherwise, what starts out as art crosses the line into hot mess. Too much of a good thing is still too much.

Drip Candles
Here's a groovy item from long ago (or maybe not - do they still make them?) Drip candles were so cool, because we groovy people never knew how it was going to turn out: art without a defined ending.

Sunflowers
Yes, they've got that groovy Fibonacci thing going on (check out the seed pattern!), but even aside from that, they're just so cool!

Whisky Stones
Is it whisky or whiskey?
Either way, these are groovy stones that you freeze and drop in your drink to chill it without watering it down. We groovy people do not generally drink a lot of whisky, but the stones work for any drink, so it's a groovy idea!

Cotton Fields
I wish I was in the land of cotton....
Oh wait. I am.
Cotton in the south.
In full bloom.
A groovy slice of Heaven on Earth.
