Fractional Birthdays
Why not celebrate all the birthdays, all the half birthdays, all the quarter birthdays, all the 7/8ths birthdays, all the... well, you get the picture.
Philosoraptor just wants to make me think too hard. Grumpy cat exudes his usual sarcasm.
If you're going to celebrate properly, don't invite these guys to your party.

Scott Ginsburg
This guy has worn a name tag since 2000, because it makes him approachable.
We groovy people admire his having leveraged an idea into a brand, an enterprise.
Good business sense. Good, groovy approachability.

Wall Decals
Theoretically, you could put any message you want on your walls. You don't need a neat vinyl decal like this- you could use spray paint, shoe polish, or glitter glue.
We groovy people like this one, though, for both its aesthetic and positive message. That's the kind of reminder we want to put into our souls.

Evil Schemes
A 10 year old boy threatening to rid the world of music. Oh, what an evil scheme! Pass the popcorn. I can't wait to see how it works out.

Sonny Bono
We groovy people admire Sonny Bono. There is so much more to this man's life than most people realize. He truly was one of the good guys. We groovy people believe that he would be rolling in his grave if he knew the direction his beautiful daughter took with her life.

Lunchboxes
Remember lunch boxes? Every person, real or fictional, that you loved (we groovy people still love Henry Winkler) was probably featured on a lunch box. Almost everyone with whom we groovy people ate lunch brought their lunch to school. We groovy people do not remember free lunches. Ever. No such thing.

Polite Elephant
Everyone likes the polite elephant. He knows the right things to say and do.
We groovy people love the polite elephant.

Easy Bake Oven
We groovy people have to admire a toy with longevity - 50 years! It has its own book, web pages devoted to it and those who collect it/them.
The popularity probably had to do with the combo (kids + food). We groovy people wanted this toy in 1967, more than we ever wanted anything. Didn't get it. So, we groovy people teach our kids how to bake with a REAL oven, from a young age. Because we can.

Groove Monkey
Groove Bunny's cousin, Groove Monkey, was jealous and wanted to be included in the blog.
So we let him.
Jury's still out on his grooviness, though. We groovy people will watch him and update you later.

John Hancock
Given that we groovy people have already, years ago, declared penmanship to be groovy, we groovy people are still in awe of the fact that our founding fathers thought to stand up for righteousness.
And John Hancock signed his name big enough that ol' King George could see it without his glasses. Or spectacles. Or whatever it was they wore to see back in 1776.
Gumption. Well played, John, well played.

Red, White, and Blueberries
What a great, groovy idea for a holiday themed breakfast! (We groovy people would eat this for dessert, a snack, maybe even lunch if no one were looking.) This idea from Mom On Timeout takes toaster waffles to a new level of grooviness! Enjoy!
